BSO Azad endorsed the shutter-down and wheel-jam strike call of Baloch Republican Party

Baloch Student Organization’s central spokesperson endorsed the shutter-down and wheel-jam strike call of Baloch Republican Party on the anniversary of Nawab Akber Khan Bugti and said that the ‘Martyrs of Taratani’’ and his role has been vital for the advancement of Baloch movement. The statement further said that Nawab Akber Khan Bugti is a role model for activists of the Baloch nation and other oppressed nations to follow and that he became a role model by making a crucial contribution to the movement.

The spokesperson said that Nawab embraced martyrdom by standing against the occupiers instead of accepting a life of oppression and slavery and proved his sincere association with the national movement; it was through his role that the movement gained further widespread popularity and it is through the sacrifices of the Baloch leaders and activists that Baloch movement has reached a stage at which it is today. The spokesperson said that due to the martyrdom of leaders and activists and the Baloch who are bearing severe torture on an everyday basis in the torture cells of Pakistan that Baloch voice has reached the ears of the international community from the mountainous heights of Balochistan and through their sacrifices Baloch nation has told the world that Baloch will not shy away from any hardships to gain their independence and even after the extreme violations of human rights by the occupying forces, Balochswould keep on struggling to advance their cause of national independence and strengthen the movement further.

The spokesperson said that Pakistan attempted to weaken the Baloch movement by murdering Baloch activists and leaders, however, through such means the movement has become more widespread and stronger than before; the occupiers employed the tactics of murdering Baloch leaders since the very beginning of the occupation, nevertheless, Baloch nation has further strengthen their cause with their hard work and commitment.

The spokesperson added that the differences in Baloch society have been erased by the sacrifices of Baloch people, as these sacrifices include the sacrifices of women, children, elderly, poor, rich, sardars and nawabs and people belonging to all spheres of life. The statement said that Baloch belonging to every strata and social classes have shown their utter commitment to the cause by standing firm and sacrificing their lives for it and it is due to these people that Baloch movement has reached new heights.

In the end the spokesperson said that Baloch Students Organization joins Baloch Republican Party’s call for a shutter-down and wheel-jam strike and instructed all the zones to make the strike successful.

Shakoor Baloch was an experienced and ideological leader of BSO Azad

Baloch Students Organization – Azad (BSO-A) central spokesman said in a press release, that on 18th August BSO Azad’s former central committee member Shakoor Baloch had embraced martyrdom in a battle with the Pakistani army near ‘Burma hotel’ in Quetta. Shakoor Baloch remained steadfast in freedom struggle by fighting the Pakistani occupiers until his last breaths, and sacrificed himself for Balochistan; and became part of the caravan of thousands of martyrs.

Shakoor Baloch was a well- experienced and ideological leader of BSO Azad. During his students politics, he had performed several responsibilities from the platform of BSO Azad. In 2010, Shakoor Baloch was Unit Secretary of Balochistan University , and in 2011,he was Senior Vice-President of Shal zone; and after that he was elected as a central committee member. As a CC member he was affiliated with BSO Azad for a long time and he had lead the youths in national freedom movement by organizing and educating them on ideological basis.

BSO Azad Spokesman added, the struggle and sacrifices of Baloch youths like the Martyr Shakoor Baloch has made freedom movement stronger and stable. They have set an example of ‘Sacrifices’ for Baloch nation, and Pakistan despite all her atrocities is near to the defeat. Today like Shakoor Baloch, thousands of Baloch sons and daughters are struggling for the freedom of their homeland. Pakistan is trying hard to end the Baloch nation’s truest affiliation with the ideology of freedom through abductions and killings of Baloch youths. But the struggle and sacrifices of the Baloch youths have failed all tactics of Pakistan.

Pakistan after killing Baloch youth, now keeping his dead body in their possession which clearly shows their defeat. After passing two days of his martyrdom, Pakistan army is not handing over the dead body of Shakoor Baloch to his family; and forces have also harassed the family members who came to receive the body, and that is a shameful act, spokesman added. Pakistani occupying state is not only far away from the international laws, but also from human values.

Spokesman further said, that all zones of BSO Azad should held rememberance references on the third day of the martyrdom of BSO Azad’s Ex- CC member Shakoor Baloch to pay rich tributes to his sacrifice and struggle. By also remembering the sacrifices and struggle of thousands of other martyrs like Shakoor Baloch and should determine to devote themselves for freedom movement.
