KARACHI – Sindh Provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce Rauf Siddiqui resigned September 14 after a factory fire that killed more than 250 people in Karachi, media reported.
Siddiqui said he resigned to enable an impartial investigation of the fire, Express News reported.
Meanwhile, a Karachi court accepted a pre-arrest bail plea by the factory’s owners but said they may not leave the country, media reported.
