London: The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has warned that tsunami waves generated after 8.7 earthquake near Indonesian Ache could hit Pakistani coastal city Karachi and Balochistan Coastal City Gawadar.The center forecast that estimated tsunami waves may arrive at 1536Z in Gwadar and at 1644Z in Karachi on April 11.
Actual arrival times may differ and the initial wave may not be the largest. A tsunami is a series of waves and the time between successive waves can be five minutes to one hour.
