QUETTA: Unknown armed men gunned down two people here in Seriab area of the provincial capital on Thursday.According to police, the victims were standing near a local hotel when the armed assailants riding a motorbike opened fire at them and fled.The two succumbed to their injuries on the spot.Police reached the site immediately after the incident and shifted the bodies to the civil hospital for post-mortem, where one of the victims was identified as Niaz Muhammad.The bodies of the deceased were handed over to the heirs after completion of legal formalities. The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
