QUETTA: A wheel-jam strike was observed on Thursday in various parts of Balochistan against load shedding, rise in petrol prices and poor law and order situation. The wheel-jam strike call was given by the Zamindar Action Committee (ZAC). Traffic remained suspended on all main national highways and areas, including Quetta’s rural area Kuchlak, Pishin, Ziarat, Chaman, Zhob, Harnai, Loralai, Mastung, Dasht, Taftan, Noshki, Kalat, Khuzdar, Awaran, Turbat, Pasni, Lasbella, Kharan, Mach, Dhadar, Bolan, Sibbi, Dera Allahyar, Dera Murad Jamali, Dera Bugti and Kohlu. The ZAC president said that the agriculture of the province had been destroyed due to massive load shedding. The ZAC has demanded the government to end load shedding from their areas and improve the law and order situation of Balochistan.
