KOREAN PHONE MAKER Samsung has made it easier for users to ditch their Iphone in favour of the Galaxy S3.
The company has teamed with developer Media Mushroom to bring its Easy Phone Sync app to Samsung Galaxy branded smartphones for free. The app, which is available now from Google Play, makes it easy to transfer content such as music, pictures, texts and contacts from an Iphone to a Samsung Galaxy smartphone, including the company's flagship Galaxy S3.
The app also allows customers to sync their Samsung Galaxy smartphone with Itunes, meaning there's no need to ditch Apple completely.
Simon Stanford, VP of Telecommunications and Networks for Samsung UK and Ireland said, "We're really proud to announce the launch of this new application and can't wait to hear what our new and existing customers think of it. We know that traditionally iPhone users have been reluctant to switch to an Android device because they couldn't use iTunes to manage their content.
"Easy Phone Sync means people can now enjoy their iTunes content on a Samsung Galaxy phone. What's more is that it's really easy for them to do, and literally takes five minutes to set up."
Easy Phone Sync is available to download from Google Play, with the PC and Mac client is available from easyphonesync.com.
