Three killed, six injured in road mishaps

Three persons were killed and six others were injured in four separate accidents in the city today.
Police said an unidentified body of a 40-year-old man was found at the Nehru Place flyover early morning.
Police said they received a call about the accident at 2.15 AM and when they reached the site of the incident they found the man's body near a road divider at the flyover.


In a second accident, 25-year-old Arun was killed when a speeding car rammed into his motorcycle at Labour Chowk in Mayur Vihar Phase III. His friend, Libo, who was also on the bike received injuries.
The incident took place at 4.30 am. Both the victims were rushed to the Lal Bahadur Shastri (LBS) Hospital, where doctors declared Arun as brought dead.
The driver of the vehicle left fled after the accident. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
In a separate accident at Gokulpuri in North-East Delhi, Naseem (32) was killed when he was hit by a vehicle on the main road of Gokulpuri. He was waiting for an auto.
In another accident Seelampur, five people were injured when a speeding tempo coming from Shahdara rammed into the auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling. All the injured have been taken to the GTB Hospital.
